We just ate at Chick-Fil-A and it led to an amazingly magical moment.
As soon as I entered the building, I was pleased to hear the notes to the instrumental version of "You're Welcome" from "Moana." I was excited when I heard Lin-Manuel Miranda's voice inside the demos that played after the instrumental.
The soundtrack played all dinner long, and it was so exciting.
I stood up after I ate just so that I could be close to the speakers and I saw the cow- it was the petite female cow, so she was about my size and had a similar personality to me, too- starting to dance the hula and other moves. Three kids- one a seven or eight year old girl, another girl around five or six, and a little boy who looked to be around four- joined her in dancing, and they were imitating the cow. At some points, the cow even danced with the little boy, and it was just the cutest thing ever.
And then the room went silent as Auli'i Cravalho's voice climbed higher and higher until the part that gets me every single time- when she powerfully belts out the line "I am Moana!"
It was truly magical and amazing and adorable, and I totally adored it.
