Hey, everyone!
Again, I am so freaking sorry for not having posted in forever. But... Life's been hard, okay? If I had my way, I'd always have time and ideas for my blog and writing. But I don't. I've been bogged down in homework-- and late work, since I'm that kind of person-- and what little free time I've had, I've been trying to catch up on something or other: one of my shows, or working on puzzles or reorganizing something or other (more often than not, a Pinterest board). XD Anyways, I just wanted to check in and say that, hey, I'm still alive, and I'll try to be on more often. But I can't guarantee anything. But, yeah, happy Thanksgiving! :)

I'm going to go through and do some rewatches of some TV shows and movies... And I'm going to post my basic reactions and such right here, I suppose. I mean, it'll give me something to do during study hall and whenever else I choose to rewatch something, right?
Anyhoo, just be on the lookout for the rewatch posts... I think I'm going to start by rewatching some old episodes of VeggieTales, just because, hey, why not? And I promise that I'll get around to posting my stories and such later. :) If you guys go back and look at my previous post, you will realize that, yep, I have already failed to keep my promise. Again.
Please don't think of this as an excuse post. I really am very busy this year, and I thought that Weebly had been blocked by my school system-- because, hey, what hasn't been blocked nowadays?-- and everything is all up in the air right now... My deepest apologies. Hey, everyone!
Oh, gosh, it's been a long summer full of ups and downs-- including the tragic death of my NOOK (*TAPS plays in background*) among other things-- and... I'm glad to say that it's almost over! School starts on Tuesday, so I should be on more often. I will finally get around to posting my stories, I promise, and I'll be more active. (Honestly, I'm going to start treating this a lot more like a Tumblr blog, so... I hope that's okay with you guys!) But yeah... Just a heads-up! :) Keep on reading and writing! You guys rock! -Kai517 Dear Readers-
I am so sorry that I have hardly been updating- last update was in August!!!- but I promise that there will be more updates really soon. I promise. I am going to be adding a few more pages to this- "Stories" and "Stories in French." I am pursuing a career as an amateur writer, and so I am sharing my stories here. And... since I am taking French class, I don't know, I just decided I'd put my stories through Google Translate- I know, I know, it's not trustworthy exactly, but still... I just want to do this!!! Anyways, there will hopefully be more updates because of this. I've got a ton of stories lined up, so... Here goes nothing! Keep on reading and writing! You guys rock! -Kai517 Hello, guys!
I am back from summer break and as excited as ever! (Straight A+ grades, some classes with friends, etc.) So... yeah. How was your summer? Dear Readers-
It's that time of year when I have to say "good-bye" for a while. Summer starts at twelve fifteen today- for me and most of the entire school- and I have to say farewell. But I wanted to give you guys something to remember here... See you later! -Kai517 p.s. "Days of Summer" and its lyrics and video belong to the supermegafoxyawesomehot Team StarKid and was seen in their play "A Very Potter Sequel," which was a parody of Harry Potter. I am not claiming the rights to any of the lyrics or video, but I am sharing it! ~-~ *Note: this song is also sung by different characters, though I am not including that... also, links don't work on Weebly unless I pay money, so just copy and paste this link right here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fu71vIdq8Yg COPY FROM THE H TO THE G OR ELSE IT WON'T WORK- I DON'T THINK!! But do enjoy and share this with your friends. I know it's not everyone's last day of school- some of you are already done and others have a few more days to go- but do share "Days of Summer" with your classmates. The #DaysofSummerCampaign starts right... NOW!* LYRICS: We've got these days of summer to remind us of each other The time we have to spend apart will keep us in each other's hearts I'm hoping that the "good old days" are something I will dream about at night Don't matter if it's sooner or later, I know that it's gonna be alright! Don't wanna see you go, but it's not forever, not forever... Even if it was, you know that I would never let it get me down 'Cause you're the part of me that makes me better wherever I go So I will try not to cry 'cause no one needs to say good-bye (Instrumentals and shouts) Don't wanna see you go, but it's not forever, not forever... Even if it was, you know that I would never let it get me down 'Cause you're the part of me that makes me better wherever I go So I will try not to cry 'cause no one needs to say good-bye... (They reprise "Back to Hogwarts" here, but this is a post about "Days of Summer," not anything else.) One- a couple days ago, I saw a rug/carpet in a most strange place- in the middle of the road. My question is: if anyone were to trip on either the road and land partway on both, or vice versa, would they get rugburn or road rash?
Two- Why is it that "good morning," "good afternoon," and "good evening" are used as terms of greeting, but "good night" is a farewell? I am so extremely random.
But sitting here inside my first-period English class, I can tell you that there is a new disease that is floating around. You guessed it: Post-It Pox. As one of my classmates was handing out papers, he got a Post-It stuck on his sleeve and put it on another classmate's sweater. I turn around and see yet another kid with Post-It notes all over his sweater, too... So, what is this Post-It Pox? Let me tell you.
{Note: Post-It Pox IS NOT a real disease. This was just made up for my enjoyment because people do have Post-It notes all over them in here and I'm bored and I need something to do. If you go to a doctor with Post-It notes all over you and say you have this disease, they may accuse you of being insane, which is another thing I don't want for you.} We just ate at Chick-Fil-A and it led to an amazingly magical moment.
As soon as I entered the building, I was pleased to hear the notes to the instrumental version of "You're Welcome" from "Moana." I was excited when I heard Lin-Manuel Miranda's voice inside the demos that played after the instrumental. The soundtrack played all dinner long, and it was so exciting. I stood up after I ate just so that I could be close to the speakers and I saw the cow- it was the petite female cow, so she was about my size and had a similar personality to me, too- starting to dance the hula and other moves. Three kids- one a seven or eight year old girl, another girl around five or six, and a little boy who looked to be around four- joined her in dancing, and they were imitating the cow. At some points, the cow even danced with the little boy, and it was just the cutest thing ever. And then the room went silent as Auli'i Cravalho's voice climbed higher and higher until the part that gets me every single time- when she powerfully belts out the line "I am Moana!" It was truly magical and amazing and adorable, and I totally adored it. |
